With ever increasing waiting lists, doctors surgeries will use the internet to pre check you before deciding whether or not they need to see you. This will involve the simple addtion of a web cam which will free up waiting time as people who are really ill will been seen quicker and someone with a cold will be told over the internet get yourself some some cold and flu tablets.
This will also be revelotionary for the emergency services, if you have a webcam available you will be able to show a doctor exactly what is going on instead of describing it, hence saving many lifes.
